Dene Adams Corset Holster Review
The Dene Adams Corset Holster is the first on-body holster I purchased. When I came across the Dene Adams product line I was immediately drawn to the feminine elegance of her concealed carry gear. The products are designed for women in appearance and fit. It is an amazing feeling when you can carry a firearm and still look and feel like a woman.
Appearance
How does it look?
The Dene Adams Corset Holster is designed to wrap around your torso. This holster is made of a lycra fabric that is soft to your skin. Lycra is commonly used in women’s lingerie and undergarments. The corset has two soft holstering compartments, one on each side, to accommodate both right and left handers. Each compartment has a fast breakaway retention tab to secure a firearm or any personal protective device. The corset is secured with two rows of hook and eye closures, just like a bra. These closures are in front, compared to most bras, which makes it easier to see when securing the holster.
Is it comfortable?
This holster is more comfortable than my bra. It was designed to offer the same benefits of actual shapeware, and to fit your figure for better concealment.
There is nothing on this holster that rubs or irritates my skin, in fact this is the holster I use when I go running. It does get pretty sweaty most days, therefore it is crucial for me to wash it regularly. I wash it just like I do my bras, on a gentle, cold water cycle, then I let it air dry.
Functionality
Is it concealable?
Yes, the corset holster holds my firearm close to my torso, blending it in with my natural curves.
Is this holster easy to use?
Yes, but just like with any holster it takes training and practice to get comfortable with your draw perfect.
Is it easy to get to?
Yes, just lift up your shirt. The regular size holster does take a little more effort to get a good grip on a micro sized pistol. The micro sized pistols tends to drop to the base of the soft holstering compartment, requiring a little more technique and practice to get a safe grip.
With that being said, Dene Adams does offer petite sized corset holsters which are more accommodating to micro sized pistols as well as short torso women.
Can this holster be used in different positions?
No, there is only one way to wear this holster. By it’s design it accommodates left and right handed shooters.
Does is work as it is intended?
Yes, it conceals my firearm securely and comfortably.

I have owned my Dene Adams corset holster for four years now. The quality of this holster does not disappoint. I wear it when I am most active and it still holds it’s shape and functions like it should. My favorite thing about this holster is how comfortable it is. Other holsters that I have tried either do not conceal as well, or allows my firearm to stab me in the ribs, but that maybe due to extra fluff around my middle.
Some users have expressed a concern that the corset does not have hard trigger protection. Since receiving this feedback Dene Adams has designed a trigger guard that fastens to the inside of the soft holstering compartment. Even more recently the company introduced the LITE Concealed Carry Corset. The new Generation 2 LITE Corset includes trigger protection, a mesh backing to allow a better air flow, and extra pockets for even more storage.
The Dene Adams Corset Holster is the perfect product to introduce females to on-the-body-carry. I look forward to trying more products from this awesome company.
