Cayenne Honey Roasted Almonds

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 1/5 cup raw almonds

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
  • Like baking tray with lipped edge with parchment paper.
  • In medium sized sauce pan melt coconut oil, add almonds to coconut oil and stir to coat evenly.
  • Remove from heat and add honey, salt, and cayenne pepper. Stir to coat almonds evenly.
  • Pour almonds and mixture only baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  • Roast in oven for 90 minutes flipping and rotating almonds every 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Let cool for coating to harden before serving.
