Pumpkin Spice French Toast

Ingredients

  • 8 slices bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 tbsp pumpkin puree
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla
  • 1 tsp pumpkin spice seasoning
  • Grade A Maple Syrup optional

Instructions

  • In shallow cake pan whisk together eggs, almond milk, pumpkin, vanilla, and pumpkin spice seasoning.
  • Heat frying pan to medium heat on stove stop. Coat with nonstick spray.
  • Place two slices of bread in pumpkin mixture. Let bread sit in mixture for up to 1 minute then flip to the other side and do the same. Place bread coated in pumpkin mixture into heated frying pan cook each side until golden brown (approximately 3 minutes) on each side.
  • Repeat step 3 until each bread slice is coated in pumpkin mixture and cooked until golden brown.
  • Add your choice of butter and grade A maple syrup (optional). Serve warm. Enjoy.
