Cameleon Bags’ Juno Pandora Purse Review

My newest concealed carry handbag is Cameleon Bags’ Juno Pandora. What initially appealed to me most about this purse was the leather, style, and different carry options. Plus, who doesn’t love a new handbag?

I was over the moon when Cameleon’s Juno Pandora was delivered. The first thing I fell in love with was the smell of the leather as I opened the shipping box. My only disappointment was that we were in the middle of a country-wide shutdown and I had little reason to leave my house. It was going to be awhile until I could give this beauty a true test run.

Appearance

How does it look?

The Juno Pandora is a satchel styled handbag in a dark chocolatey brown leather, with antique brass hardware accents. I love the combination of the classic style handbag with soft genuine leather. In addition to the appearance of this bag, I also fell in love with is the number of pockets. The main handbag compartment is a zipper closure and contains three smaller pockets. There is also a large accordion style pocket on the front of the handbag that contains a brass snap closure. I find the accordion pocket to be an ideal place to keep my keys, phone, and items I access the most.

You can’t overlook the concealed carry compartment. This pocket is located on the back side of the handbag. The compartment is padded, lined with velcro, and accessible three different ways. It is accessed through both sides, but also through the top. If you plan on carrying in cross-body position it is important to have access through the top of the concealed carry compartment.

Is it comfortable?

The Juno Pandora measures 10 inches in height and 12 inches in width. It is big enough to fit all your things, and small enough to carry comfortably. I find it most comfortable to carry this handbag using the shoulder strap. The Juno also contains padded handles. I tend to use the handles when I am grabbing my handbag quickly and for a short period of time.

Functionality

Is it concealable?

Yes, the concealed carry compartment on the Juno Pandora is concealable. This compartment has padding that prevents imprinting through the leather and also protects your firearm. It is also lined with velcro that sticks to the Cameleon Bags velcro holster. Each Cameleon bag you buy comes with with a velcro holster. The velcro is strong and can hold the firearm in the perfect position for your grip when needed.

Does it work as it is intended?

Yes, this handbag works as it is intended. The Juno Pandora conceals my firearm and allows me several ways to access my firearm when needed.

Wrapping Things Up

There are three things that set Cameleon Bags’ Juno Pandora apart from all the others. The quality, the accessibility to the concealed carry compartment, and the modern style.

The Juno Pandora is made of a genuine leather, smell included. I have been carrying the Juno Pandora now on a daily basis for four months and I have been more than impressed with the quality. One thing I have noticed with other concealed carry handbags, is because they are typically carrying more weight, your firearm, they tend to lose their shape or become top-heavy. I was pleasantly surprised to find that not to be the case with the Juno Pandora. This bag can stand alone when fully loaded, pun intended.

I prefer to carry my concealed carry handbags in a cross-body position. Typically when carrying cross-body the handbag hits lower on our body making it more difficult to reach side access pockets. With the Juno Pandora you also have an access to concealed carry compartment on top of the handbag. The top access contains a zipper closure and allows quick access.

Eight years ago when I first became interested in firearms there were no trendy styled concealed carry handbags. I am happy to see the market has changed over time. Now there are many styles and options to choose from. The Juno Pandora is my most recent fav.
